Job Requirements
- Work a flexible, full-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be available to close the store at least once per week
- Attend corporate meetings and conferences including overnight travel and interstate trips
- Maintain valid identification for airline travel
- Experience in retail management or other relevant roles
- Knowledge of financial management including sales and payroll
- Ability to lead and develop teams

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3-5+ years of fast-paced retail management or relevant experience
- Proven success driving top-line sales and managing payroll budgets
- Experience in retail inventory monitoring, operational excellence, and customer service culture
- Demonstrated leadership in hiring, developing, and motivating talent
- Proficiency with point of sale systems, Microsoft Office, and Apple devices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal abilities
- Effective organizational skills for multitasking
- Ability to perform under pressure and adapt to change
Job Duties
- Promote a culture of accountability to meet or exceed sales, guest loyalty, payroll, omni-channel, and shrink goals
- Drive company profitability through operational excellence, top-line sales growth, and expense control
- Leverage store forecast and payroll budgets to optimize scheduling, productivity, and workload completion
- Address financial and operational issues identified through reports, visits, and audits
- Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to enhance guest service experience
- Stay informed on industry trends, products, and services to better serve guests
- Maintain prompt and regular attendance and enforce attendance policies
- Attract, hire, and retain a diverse team while addressing staffing needs
- Address policy violations with appropriate corrective action following company procedures
- Build a collaborative and engaged team embodying the Ulta Beauty brand
- Create an inclusive environment that fosters associate growth and engagement
- Lead manager and associate development through training, coaching, performance reviews, and succession planning
- Ensure ongoing participation in professional development and education programs
- Model open communication and align team goals with store objectives
- Promote teamwork by providing clear direction and establishing priorities
- Execute the Guest Engagement Leader program to enhance business results
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and dress code
- Use scheduling and task management tools to optimize guest experience and store efficiency
- Protect company assets by enforcing standards related to safety, inventory control, cash management, and loss prevention
- Execute inventory control processes including theft and damage reporting
- Support adoption of company initiatives and technology for continuous improvement
- Communicate with field leadership regarding business trends, operational challenges, and merchandise needs
