Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Some college or degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of General Manager experience preferred
  • Ability to stand and walk extensively for up to 8 hours
  • Ability to communicate clearly
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure during busy periods
  • Must be able to read, write and perform basic arithmetic
  • Flexibility and mobility within the work environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Some college or degree preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years of General Manager experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of food, liquor, beer, and wine operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to manage financial and operational reports
  • Proven ability to supervise and develop a team
  • Skill in maintaining safety, sanitation, and facility compliance standards

Job Duties

  • Directly supervises all unit management and indirectly supervises non-exempt employees during operation hours
  • Responsible for achieving planned sales and profit levels while ensuring maximum guest satisfaction
  • Plans and analyzes manpower, development, and training of all employees including management
  • Performs or assists in all restaurant functions as needed
  • Ensures all menu items are prepared, portioned, and presented properly according to established standards
  • Maintains compliance with productivity, service, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Manages facility maintenance, security, repairs, and energy conservation
  • Maintains proper inventory levels and accurate financial data including payroll, cash, food costs, and operating expenses
  • Attends regional meetings and makes presentations as required
