Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required
- Possess a valid, unexpired and unsuspended state driver’s license
- Some license restrictions may prohibit candidate from consideration
- Previous experience with a commercial airline or ground handler in a leadership role
- Available to work non-standard schedules due to operational needs including 24/7/365 availability
- Must have effective verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with contract labor workgroups preferred
- Must be accomplished, customer-focused, accountable, self-motivated, and collaborative
- Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand English
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Job Qualifications

- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with various internal and external partners
- Experience working with contract labor workgroups preferred in some locations
- Accomplished, customer-focused, accountable, self-motivated, and collaborative
- Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand English
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Job Duties
- Responsible for the overall training compliance of their station
- Lead a team to run a safe, efficient, and effective operation while delivering top notch service to American Airlines customers
- Oversight and coordination of the day-to-day operation to ensure maximum quality and safety of on-time movement of aircraft through the station
- Drive accountability to build and manage a strong and motivated team
- Ensure the right people are in place in the operation
- Be a visible and active leader of people
- Actively get in front of employees and establish lines of communication
