Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years leadership experience in hotel operations or sales
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively
- Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and forecasting
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency in hospitality financial and property management systems
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Current or prior hotel general manager experience or 3+ years hotel rooms, operations, or sales leadership within major brands such as Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt
- Ability to defuse distressed associates and guests to achieve best outcomes
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Demonstrated professionalism and personal integrity
- Ability to learn and utilize hospitality systems technology
- Hospitality certifications such as CHA, CHRM, CHSP are a plus
Job Duties
- Provide leadership and strategic planning to all departments to maximize operations and guest satisfaction
- Champion brand and company reputation to exceed performance standards
- Contribute to financial forecasts and budgets
- Analyze monthly profit and loss statements with regional accounting and operations teams
- Optimize revenue streams including room sales and food and beverage to maximize profitability
- Establish a supportive team environment through training, coaching, counseling, and mentorship
- Develop team retention strategies and recruit top talent
- Attend and contribute to weekly revenue meetings
- Manage hotel-specific accounting duties including payroll
- Participate actively in local community events and volunteer work
