  • high school diploma or GED
  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • must be ServSafe certified
  • pass background check and drug test
  • open availability to work various shifts
  • ability to follow cash handling procedures
  • ability to maintain safe work environment
  • knowledge of order processing systems and basic computer skills

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED
  • some college preferred
  • previous restaurant experience desirable
  • must be at least 18 years old
  • must be ServSafe certified
  • excellent written and oral communication skills
  • ability to listen and understand different points of view
  • ability to influence and gain commitment
  • clear and concise presentation skills
  • understanding of P and L analysis, cash controls and labor analysis
  • knowledge of food cost calculations
  • problem-solving and sound judgment skills
  • flexibility to handle multiple demands and shifts
  • strong leadership and team development skills
  • basic computer and order processing system knowledge

Job Duties

  • work the front counter to ensure quality service
  • check product quality and communicate with customers
  • train and coach employees to show courtesy and handle complaints
  • conduct meetings with team members and management to plan, train and review operations
  • develop and maintain acceptable sales levels using local store marketing
  • monitor utilities, supplies and costs and analyze profits and losses
  • manage inventory control and follow preparation and serving procedures
  • develop and post labor schedules and adjust according to sales
  • manage restaurant cash by making daily bank deposits and follow cash handling procedures
  • report accidents and incidents promptly and maintain safe work environment
  • ensure cleanliness, uniforms and adherence to image standards
  • keep district manager informed on hiring, promotions and employee status
  • process payroll and maintain applicant tracking
  • conduct performance reviews and document disciplinary actions
  • use preventive maintenance for buildings and equipment
  • attend district meetings for training and operations review
  • perform required administrative paperwork
