Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory role
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Strong leadership abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including long shifts
- Good communication skills
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Must be available to work on-site at the franchise location
Job Qualifications
- Experience in restaurant management or similar role
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Knowledge of local, state and federal regulations related to food service
- Ability to manage financial aspects including food cost and labor
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to implement company policies and initiatives effectively
- Customer service orientation
- Experience in marketing or community engagement preferred
- Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations
- Physical stamina to handle long shifts and lifting requirements
Job Duties
- Ensure the restaurant complies with all local, state and federal regulations
- Enforce Firehouse Subs policies and procedures
- Lead and motivate the restaurant team to meet guest service, quality and cleanliness standards
- Manage the profitability of the restaurant by controlling food cost, labor, utilities and driving sales growth
- Implement operational game plans and company initiatives
- Staff the restaurant with qualified and trained employees
- Develop and train Assistant Manager and Shift Managers
- Participate in local restaurant marketing
- Promote Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation initiatives
- Ensure all reports and legal documents are accurate and submitted on time
- Maintain community awareness and engage in public relations activities
- Represent Firehouse Subs in a professional manner
- Communicate business-impacting issues to the Owner
- Maintain restaurant equipment and report any problems
- Work on feet for up to 13 hours
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Owner
