Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior management experience preferred
  • knowledge of food safety and labor laws
  • ability to train and lead staff
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to handle physical demands of job including standing for long hours and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • availability to work flexible hours including weekends
  • strong organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Ensure the restaurant is in full compliance with all local, state and federal regulations including health, wage, age restrictions, fair employment practices, ADA and OSHA
  • enforce all Firehouse Subs policies and procedures
  • provide leadership to ensure superior guest service, quality and cleanliness
  • operate profitably within food cost, labor, controllable expenses, utilities and sales growth guidelines
  • coordinate and implement operations game plans and company initiatives
  • properly staff the restaurant with qualified personnel and ensure proper training and development of Assistant and Shift Managers
  • actively participate in local restaurant marketing
  • implement and promote Public Safety Foundation initiatives
  • maintain accurate and timely programs, reports and legal documents
  • engage in community affairs for sales and public relations opportunities
  • represent Firehouse Subs professionally and positively at all times
  • communicate business impacting issues to GM/Owner
  • maintain restaurant equipment and promptly report issues to Owner
  • work on feet for up to 13 hours and lift up to 50 lbs
  • perform any other duties assigned by Owner
