Job Requirements
- Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Must be able to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations and maintain composure
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and resolving concerns raised by co-workers and guests
- Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data
- Must be attentive to detail and meet deadlines
- Must be proficient in Windows operating systems and company-approved spreadsheets and word processing
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Leads team members to always provide friendly service with a smile to guests
- Must meet legal age to serve alcoholic beverages at select properties
- A valid driver’s license is required
- Basic market knowledge
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be willing to work a varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Bachelor's or associate's degree preferred
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Progressive experience in hospitality, hotel, restaurant, or service industry including Rooms and Food & Beverage departments preferred

Job Duties
- Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
- Use guests' names whenever possible to ensure they feel welcomed
- Work together with team members to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
- Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
- Maintain strong knowledge of all hotel features and amenities
- Support awareness of groups and events at the hotel
- Understand relevant technology for the role and answer phone calls with friendly service
- Keep all workspaces clean and well-organized, both front and back of house
- Assist in cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed
- Always greet guests happily while cleaning
- Complete all operational checklists accurately and on time every shift
- Ensure shift handover reports are accurate and timely
- Maintain a flawless uniform and professional grooming standards
- Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
- Demonstrate a can-do attitude and willingness to stretch beyond traditional roles
- Foster collaboration to create a welcoming environment and positive workplace
- Conduct daily walks including guest rooms and public spaces to ensure cleanliness and friendly service
- Onboard new team members according to established processes
- Oversee daily summary and night audit processes
- Start and complete shift handover reports and upload to reporting platform
- Ensure adherence to brand quality standards through audits and corrections
- Enforce team member attire standards consistently
- Certify fire and life safety inspections are current and any deficiencies corrected
- Confirm preventative maintenance tasks are performed and of high quality
- Manage adherence to work schedules and shift deployments
- Build a culture of learning and safety
- Provide functional training and communicate career paths
- Deliver daily feedback with candor and positivity
- Review team member time clock punches according to policy
- Manage purchase orders through approved processes
- Process and sign off invoices accurately
- Keep approved storage areas clean and follow inventory program
