Job Requirements

  • Retired E8-E9 or O4-O6 military rank preferred
  • bachelor’s degree required
  • strong leadership and organizational skills
  • ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • acceptable driving record
  • ability to pass a background check
  • zero tolerance drug free employer including pre-employment and random screening
  • ability to lift 50 pounds
  • willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • excellent communication skills in person, phone, and radio communication
  • ability to travel as required
  • commitment to company standards and customer service excellence

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • master’s degree preferred
  • proven track record in business development and control management
  • experience managing a nationally or globally recognized brand
  • demonstrated ability to interact with senior level executives
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • high integrity and excellent critical thinking skills
  • ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial and dynamic environment
  • experience in contract negotiation and budget management

Job Duties

  • Full profit and loss responsibilities for the FBO
  • provide strong leadership and support to functional reports
  • improve profitability by championing operational excellence techniques and process improvements
  • drive business growth and development
  • promote and hold others accountable for Million Air standards
  • ensure department managers have necessary resources including staffing, technology, and training
  • foster a teamwork oriented, high performance culture that is customer focused
  • negotiate contracts including hangar leases, city leases, fuel supply, and vendor agreements
  • prepare budgets, monitor variance reporting and performance
  • develop necessary controls and procedures for success and legal compliance
  • demonstrate strong recruiting skills and clear communication
