Job Requirements

Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Bachelor’s degree preferred
7 years experience in logistics, distribution or relevant environment
5 years experience in leadership role in logistics, distribution or supply chain in operations management
Able to work in unregulated temperatures within warehouse environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Demonstrated proficiency in WMS systems
English language skills (reading, writing, verbal)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good organizational and personnel skills
Good written and oral communication skills
Good leadership, supervision and planning skills
Advanced accounting and financial math skills
Ability to motivate self and others
Ability to adapt to change and thrive in fast-paced environments
Ability to develop relationships and lead diverse teams

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
Bachelor’s degree preferred
7 years experience in logistics, distribution or relevant environment
5 years experience in leadership role in logistics, distribution or supply chain
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Demonstrated proficiency with warehouse management systems
Business communication skills in English
Ability to develop effective relationships and leadership skills
Strong organizational, personnel and communication skills
Advanced expertise in accounting and financial applications related to P&L and budgeting
Ability to adapt to and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Job Duties

Ensure systems and procedures for safe and profitable operation management are in place
Lead operations to meet productivity and service goals
Drive continuous improvement efforts through goal setting and implementation of LEAN and six sigma practices
Develop and maintain productive relations with vendors, suppliers and business partners
Ensure compliance with OSHA, federal and state laws
Set standards according to client scope of work
Manage financial controls to meet cost, revenue, and profit targets
Partner with senior leadership to develop operating budget
Oversee safety and security of the operation
Develop and mentor teams to achieve company and client objectives
Act as site champion for client relationship management and support business reviews
Assist in marketing and sales strategies and new business development
Manage equipment and facility maintenance and training
Ensure adherence to safety audits and regulatory compliance
Work overtime as needed
Perform other duties as required
Manage operations managers
