Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • One to two years related experience and/or training
  • Knowledge of Wendy's operating systems and procedures
  • Understanding of company policies and procedures
  • Ability to analyze profit and loss statements
  • Supervisory experience
  • Planning and budgeting skills
  • Training and development experience
  • Understanding of employment laws
  • Serve-Safe certification
  • Completion of GM Core classes and Crew Interviewing Workshop within 90 days of employment
  • Ability to read and write business correspondence
  • Strong mathematical and reasoning skills

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or one to two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of company operating systems and procedures
  • Understanding of company policies and procedures
  • Competence in profit and loss analysis and corrective measures
  • Familiarity with supervisory practices
  • Skills in planning and budgeting
  • Experience with interviewing, training, and development practices
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business-related documents
  • Strong report writing and presentation skills
  • Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, and percentages
  • Proficiency in basic algebra and geometry
  • Strong problem-solving and reasoning abilities
  • Serve-Safe certification

Job Duties

  • Manage operations and staff of Wendy's restaurant
  • Execute all company policies, procedures, programs, and systems
  • Ensure objectives are reached in all areas while following company guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and ethical business practices
  • Provide leadership, direction, training, and development to subordinate managers and crew
  • Analyze profit and loss statements and implement corrective measures
  • Conduct interviewing and hiring processes
  • Oversee planning and budgeting activities
  • Attend GM Core classes and Crew Interviewing Workshop within 90 days of hire or promotion
  • Ensure Serve-Safe certification compliance
