Job Requirements

  • Previous five plus years of general manager experience within a busy full service or conference center hotel required
  • computer and office skills required
  • must have the ability to communicate effectively through email as well as manipulate and decipher information quickly from spreadsheets and databases
  • experience with hotel information systems and accounting systems pertinent to the brand
  • premium brand experience highly preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum five years of general manager experience in a full-service or conference center hotel
  • proficiency with hotel information systems and accounting software
  • strong communication skills for effective email correspondence and data analysis
  • prior experience with premium brands such as Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott, or IHG preferred
  • leadership and team development skills
  • ability to foster positive relationships with ownership and sales teams

Job Duties

  • Focus on revenue index, flex/flow, and guest satisfaction metrics
  • develop a staff optimization plan for leaders
  • establish relationships with hotel ownership and corporate staff
  • collaborate with onsite sales and corporate sales leadership
  • balance strategic planning with hands-on execution
  • maximize team potential through leadership
  • drive market share growth and customer service initiatives
