Job Description

Dunkin' is a globally recognized leader in the quick-service restaurant industry, famed for its unparalleled coffee and baked goods. With a rich legacy rooted in customer satisfaction and community connection, Dunkin' operates a vast network of franchises that embody its mission to offer high-quality yet affordable products quickly and efficiently. The company thrives on innovation, robust operational standards, and a culture centered on employee development and guest experiences. Focused on continuous growth and excellence, Dunkin' is committed to maintaining its status as a beloved brand and a leading employer in the fast-casual dining sector. Embracing franchisee policies and standards, Dunkin' ensures consistency across all locations while fostering a supportive, customer-centric environment.

The Restaurant Manager role at Dunkin' is a pivotal leadership position responsible for the overall operation and success of a single restaurant location. This role involves providing strong, positive leadership and motivation to the restaurant team, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and profitability. With a pay rate of up to $24 per hour, the Restaurant Manager will be instrumental in delivering exceptional guest experiences by guiding and developing team members, overseeing daily operations, and adhering to company policies and industry regulations.

The Restaurant Manager must possess the ability to perform the duties typical of team members, including hands-on participation when necessary, fostering a collaborative and efficient workplace. Responsibilities include recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising a diverse team that includes shift leaders, bakers, and support staff. A key function of the role is to cultivate a positive work environment through teamwork, coaching, conflict resolution, and continuous development. Implementing training programs and leading by example, the Restaurant Manager upholds Dunkin’s brand standards, encouraging professionalism and a strong work ethic throughout the team.

Operational excellence is central to the role, where the manager oversees opening and closing procedures, cash management, inventory control, and compliance with health and safety guidelines. Developing strategies to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and maximize profitability forms part of the daily agenda. The manager also acts as a guardian of the guest experience—creating a welcoming atmosphere, responding to customer feedback, and driving improvements based on guest insights.

Additional responsibilities entail engaging with the local community to build relationships and explore partnership opportunities, staying abreast of industry trends and technological advancements, and communicating restaurant goals and results effectively to the team. The role requires collaboration with the Dunkin' and Inspire Brands Field Operations teams to ensure alignment and support. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for completing vendor orders, conducting self-assessments for food safety, and ensuring the restaurant operates within budget constraints set by the franchisee.

This leadership position demands strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to manage conflict and motivate others in a fun, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate honesty, punctuality, guest focus, and a willingness to embrace change while guiding their team toward excellence. Educationally, basic computer skills, proficiency in English or the predominant local language, foundational math and financial management abilities, along with prior leadership experience in retail, restaurant, or hospitality settings, are required. A college degree is preferred but not mandatory.

Physical demands of the job include standing for extended periods, repetitive motions such as bending and reaching, occasional lifting of packages, and the necessity to work within small spaces. The role may also involve wearing a headset. This challenging yet rewarding position offers an opportunity to develop professionally within a globally recognized brand while making a meaningful impact on a community and customer base.
