Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred
- five or more years of progressive hotel leadership experience
- prior experience as a general manager, assistant general manager, or director of operations
- strong food and beverage leadership experience
- proven success managing P and L, budgeting, forecasting, and revenue strategy
- experience with hospitality systems such as PMS, POS, HRIS, accounting, and labor management
- willingness to relocate to Winooski, Vermont
- flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Five or more years of progressive hotel leadership experience
- prior experience as a general manager, assistant general manager, or director of operations
- full-service or lifestyle and boutique hotel background strongly preferred
- strong food and beverage leadership experience, high-volume experience a plus
- proven success managing P and L, budgeting, forecasting, and revenue strategy
- experience with hospitality systems such as PMS, POS, HRIS, accounting, and labor management
- bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred
- willingness to relocate to Winooski, Vermont
- flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Job Duties
- Build and lead a high-performing opening team
- establish service standards, SOPs, and operational infrastructure
- drive opening timelines, training execution, and readiness planning
- create a strong, service-focused culture from day one
- oversee all day-to-day hotel operations
- maintain Marriott brand standards and company compliance
- conduct regular property inspections and quality assurance reviews
- ensure exceptional guest satisfaction metrics
- develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts
- drive P and L performance and profitability
- partner with sales and revenue teams on pricing and demand strategy
- maximize revenue across guestrooms, rooftop bar, and food and beverage outlets
- lead recruitment, onboarding, and leadership development
- conduct performance management and succession planning
- foster a safe, positive, accountable workplace
- maintain high associate engagement and retention
- serve as the hotel’s ambassador within the Winooski and greater Burlington community
- develop local partnerships and business relationships
- position the rooftop bar and hotel as a premier lifestyle destination
