Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three years of management experience in the restaurant industry
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to understand and enforce company policies and procedures
  • Physical stamina and ability to handle job demands
  • Ability to handle cash and maintain security protocols
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Three years management experience in the restaurant industry
  • Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to lead and get results through others
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
  • Ability to exhibit a professional image
  • Physical ability to exert mobility for up to six hours and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Stamina to work a minimum of 50 hours per week

Job Duties

  • Ensures prompt, friendly service according to company guidelines
  • Directs overall activities and performance of hourly staff
  • Handles verbal and written guest complaints immediately
  • Monitors and maintains adequate food and beverage inventories
  • Teaches and enforces alcohol awareness
  • Builds a positive relationship with local authorities on alcohol issues
  • Assures compliance with local, state, and federal laws and guidelines
  • Ensures timely product preparation and presentation meets company standards
  • Ensures maintenance of restaurant cleanliness and sanitation according to company and government standards
  • Completes daily reports and documents on a timely basis
  • Schedules staffing effectively to meet sales volume and service levels
  • Ensures adherence to all cash handling procedures
  • Directs hiring, assignment, training, motivation, evaluation, promotions, and discipline of personnel
  • Maintains effective safety and security programs
  • Communicates effectively with management staff
  • Keeps abreast of relevant computer applications and completes assigned duties
