Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- valid driver’s license
- reliable transportation
- current automobile insurance
- clean driving record
- physical stamina to work 50-60 hours per week
- willingness to work overtime, holidays and weekends
- ability to speak, read and write English fluently
- capability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk, hear, and have close, distance, peripheral vision and depth perception
- ability to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- proven experience in restaurant management
- excellent communication skills
- strong math abilities including addition, subtraction, fractions and percentages
- proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- ability to lead and motivate a team
- strong organizational and multitasking skills
- understanding of inventory control and food safety standards
Job Duties
- Manage a staff of 3 assistant managers and 25-30 employees
- assign, oversee and evaluate work for compliance
- manage hiring, training, evaluating, discipline and termination of employees
- provide on the job training for new employees
- delegate and oversee ordering, receipt, storage and issuing of food, labor, equipment, cleaning and paper supplies
- assist in supervision, preparation, sales and service of food
- forecast food items per shift
- supervise food preparation and service operations
- assist in greeting customers, taking orders, using cash register, assembling orders and checking for completeness
- ensure world class customer service
- route deliveries and supervise drivers
- complete daily food preparations
- execute systems and procedures with integrity and completeness
- complete daily, weekly and periodic paperwork
- control inventory using weekly system and maintain ordering schedules
- conduct weekly manager meetings
- audit systems and procedures and shift ending paperwork
- complete preventative maintenance and upkeep on equipment and supplies
- perform other related duties
- manage cash drawers during shift
- manage deposits and change orders per procedure
