Job Requirements
- education or experience equivalent to at least 3 years in food service management
- proficiency with digital ordering, inventory, and HR systems
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- ability to lead and mentor teams
- familiarity with financial management and sales building
- experience in contract and institutional dining settings
- ability to work in a fast-paced university environment
Job Qualifications
- minimum 3 years experience in a food service management role
- knowledge of retail sales and POS systems
- catering management experience
- strong communication skills
- restaurant management expertise
- thorough knowledge of menu implementation and presentation
- experience in team building including recruiting and retention
- technology savvy
- hospitality degree is a strong plus
Job Duties
- plan and oversee multi-outlet dining operations including cafes, retail, coffee shop and catering
- institute company cycle menus and recipes
- manage purchasing and inventory control
- lead employee personnel programs including mentoring and scheduling
- oversee bookkeeping and financial tracking
- maintain customer and client relations
- ensure compliance with food preparation, service standards and sanitation regulations
