Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous management experience in a restaurant or similar environment
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to motivate and lead a diverse team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Availability to work from 6:00am to 2:00pm with flexibility for additional hours
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, lift up to 45 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks
  • Capability to operate kitchen and office equipment
  • Commitment to maintaining high cleanliness and safety standards
  • Must be able to respond to emergencies and fill shifts if needed

  • Experience in restaurant or hospitality management

  • Ability to manage budgets and costs effectively

Job Duties

  • Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs
  • Ensure all financial and personnel administrative duties are completed accurately and on time
  • Enforce sanitary practices for food handling and cleanliness
  • Ensure compliance with operational standards, policies, and laws
  • Maintain consistency and high quality of food preparation and service
  • Manage restaurant cleanliness, uniforms, and appearance standards
  • Estimate food and beverage costs and assist with purchasing supplies
  • Supervise portion control to minimize waste
  • Oversee Kitchen Manager's management of orders and deliveries
  • Ensure positive guest service and respond to complaints
  • Implement security procedures to protect employees, guests, and assets
  • Maintain a safe environment to reduce injury risk
  • Complete accident reports promptly
  • Manage shifts including scheduling and planning
  • Investigate and resolve complaints about food quality and service
  • Provide direction on operational and procedural issues
  • Interview, hire, supervise, develop, and if needed, terminate employees
  • Conduct orientation and employee training
  • Provide ongoing feedback and conduct performance reviews
  • Prepare staff schedules and maintain staffing plans
  • Keep ownership informed of all significant issues
  • Foster a cooperative and harmonious working climate
  • Present a favorable image of the restaurant at all times
  • Perform other duties as requested
  • Fill in for employees during absences or emergencies
