Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum five years experience in transportation operations or related industry
- At least three years supervisory experience
- Experience in labor and union negotiations
- Knowledge of dispatch, scheduling, driver recruitment, safety DOT and FTA compliance
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical and multi-tasking abilities
Job Qualifications
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in a related field from a four-year college or equivalent experience
- Management experience required
- Multimode experience preferred including fixed route, paratransit, and microtransit
- Minimum of five years experience in transportation operations or similar industry with at least three years supervisory experience
- Labor/union negotiations/expenses expertise
- Full understanding of dispatch, scheduling, driver recruitment, and safety DOT and FTA compliance
- Proficient in MS Office
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High degree of multi-tasking skills
Job Duties
- Oversee employees of the contractor and monitor operational activities associated with the scope of work
- Effectively manage customer relations through both direct contact and outreach programs
- Supervise the daily activities of all drivers, dispatchers, call takers, supervisors, and subordinate managers as well as oversee the development and implementation of standard operation procedures
- Identify, select, train and mentor location staff
- Effectively and frequently communicate with location staff and support team members
- Oversee safety and training programs, plans and processes to ensure compliance with company, contract and regulatory requirements
- Maintain client contact routinely to meet or exceed expectations
