Job Requirements

  • Four year bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum five years management experience in public transportation operations or related field
  • Proficiency in dispatch, scheduling, driver recruitment, safety, DOT, and FTA compliance
  • Strong skills in MS Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask effectively
  • Additional duties based on contract requirements
  • Willingness to comply with pre-employment drug test and background check where applicable

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent education and experience
  • Minimum of five years management experience in public transportation operations or related field
  • Full understanding of dispatch, scheduling, driver recruitment, and safety regulations including DOT and FTA compliance
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • strong analytical skills
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High multitasking ability
  • Adaptability to perform additional duties based on contract requirements

Job Duties

  • Manage customer relations through direct contact and outreach programs
  • Identify, select, train, and mentor location staff
  • Communicate frequently with location staff and support teams
  • Oversee vehicle maintenance plans and ensure fleet availability
  • Oversee safety and training programs to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain routine client contact to meet or exceed expectations
  • Conduct periodic departmental audits
  • Review key operational metrics daily, weekly, and monthly
  • Manage financial metrics continuously and develop action plans for exceptions
  • Implement and adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Work with the bridges committee to effect policy changes
  • Participate in labor and employee relations activities
  • Provide data and support for contract renewals
