Job Duties
- Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
- recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
- plan, assign, and direct work
- appraise performance and discipline employees including terminations
- address complaints and resolve problems
- shape the restaurant culture to ensure high employee engagement
- coach and mentor team members to ensure success and guest satisfaction
- model professional behavior and create a hospitable atmosphere
- communicate sales performance and drive sales-building activities
- maximize table turnover and sales per guest
- meet and greet guests and handle food quality and service issues
- maintain efficient operations with appropriate cost controls
- ensure compliance with OSHA, health, and safety codes
- enforce safe work behaviors and maintain a safe environment
- monitor daily activities to ensure food quality and cleanliness
- control day-to-day operations including cash control, inventory, and scheduling
- manage food, labor, and carryout costs
- oversee proper use of restaurant equipment and facility upkeep
