Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Current automobile insurance
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Willingness to work evenings, holidays, and weekends as business dictates
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, climb and perform repetitive motions
  • Standing and moving about the unit during the entire workday
  • Ability to establish priorities and work independently
  • Ability to handle stress and resolve customer and employee issues
  • Ability to use personal computer and various software packages
  • Good communication skills in English

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
  • Experience in managing staff and conducting employee evaluations
  • Proven skills in food service operations management
  • Competency in ordering and inventory control
  • Strong leadership and team development capabilities
  • Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to handle customer and employee issues effectively
  • Experience in managing financial statements and business performance
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Job Duties

  • Manage a staff of approximately 3 to 50 employees with over 80 hours of labor per week
  • Assign, oversee and evaluate employee work
  • Recommend promotion, transfer, or termination of employees based on performance
  • Provide on-the-job training for new employees
  • Delegate and manage ordering, receipt, storage and issuance of all food, labor, equipment, cleaning, and paper supplies
  • Supervise preparation, sales, and service of food
  • Forecast food items to avoid shortages and ensure shift success
  • Ensure every customer receives world-class customer service
  • Route deliveries and serve drivers to maximize delivery business and speed
  • Complete and oversee daily food preparation including opening and closing procedures
  • Execute systems and procedures with 100 percent integrity
  • Complete daily and weekly paperwork
  • Maintain 100 percent accountability of cash drawers
  • Receive and store product shipments
  • Audit previous shifts for procedural integrity
  • Perform preventive maintenance and upkeep on equipment and supplies
  • Supervise the entire management team
  • Identify and develop talent for management positions
  • Administer performance reviews for management team
  • Manage profit and loss statements and identify business issues
  • Promote a positive, productive work environment
  • Display a sense of urgency in all tasks
