Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, A levels, GED, or GCSE
  • at least 10 years of professional experience
  • experience as general manager or managing director
  • drug test and pre-employment physical required
  • ability to undergo random alcohol and drug testing
  • clear understanding of union contracts and grievance procedures
  • strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • ability to manage complex operations and budgets
  • commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive workplace

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, transportation, or public administration
  • five years of managerial or comparable administrative experience
  • clear understanding of collective bargaining agreements and labor relations
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to develop and coach leadership teams
  • experience in budget management and financial oversight
  • knowledge of safety and compliance regulations

Job Duties

  • Promote a diverse and inclusive work environment

  • provide input and feedback on policy development
  • create and maintain a strong safety culture
  • oversee agency safety plan implementation and reporting

  • develop strategic vision for local team growth
  • monitor business and community trends
