Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in hotel management preferably with Marriott or similar brands
  • Proven track record of achieving financial and operational targets
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in relevant hotel management software
  • Ability to lead and motivate diverse teams
  • Experience managing food and beverage operations is preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Marriott Hotel General Manager experience is required
  • Proven success in full-service or select-service hotel management
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting forecasting and revenue strategy
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire mentor and hold teams accountable
  • Guest-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service
  • Highly organized adaptable and solutions-oriented
  • Multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus
  • Experience in resort-style operations is an asset

Job Duties

  • Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership across all hotel departments fostering a culture of teamwork accountability and service excellence
  • Oversee daily operations including front desk guest services housekeeping maintenance food and beverage and night audit functions
  • Develop and execute revenue management strategies to drive occupancy ADR and RevPAR performance
  • Manage budgeting forecasting and financial reporting to ensure fiscal responsibility and achievement of profit goals
  • Champion guest satisfaction by resolving concerns promptly and ensuring every guest experience reflects Marriott brand standards
  • Partner with Human Resources to recruit train coach and develop high-performing teams
  • Maintain compliance with all health safety and brand standards
  • Leverage multilingual abilities if applicable to enhance communication with a diverse guest and associate base
