Job Description

This job opportunity is with an independently owned and operated McDonald’s restaurant franchise, distinctly separate from McDonald’s USA. The franchisee holds the license to use McDonald’s logos, food products, and brand standards to operate the restaurant but independently manages all employment matters. This structure allows the franchisee to tailor the workplace culture and policies while maintaining the high-quality standards associated with the McDonald’s brand. The distinct separation means that if hired, your employer will be the franchisee, not McDonald’s USA, ensuring the franchisee solely handles hiring, scheduling, discipline, supervision, and other employment-related decisions.

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Proven experience managing high-volume quick service restaurants or similar hospitality/retail settings
  • Strong leadership capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Willingness to meet high customer service and cleanliness standards
  • Ability to manage hiring, training, and staffing functions

Job Qualifications

  • Previous general management experience in high-volume restaurants
  • Experience in quick service restaurants preferred
  • Background in hospitality or retail is a plus
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to set and achieve strategic goals
  • Ability to coach and develop team members
  • Must be 18 years or older

Job Duties

  • Run a profitable restaurant meeting McDonald’s standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
  • Work with leadership to set restaurant goals and develop plans to achieve them
  • Lead a team of Department Managers by coaching and directing to improve departmental performance
  • Hire and develop Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership team
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure excellent customer experiences
  • Monitor financial performance and control costs
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations
