Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years restaurant management experience
- Ability to work a minimum five-day workweek including four closing shifts
- Available to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing and selection practices
- Familiarity with federal and state labor laws, health and sanitation regulations
- Leadership and supervisory skills
- Basic accounting and computer proficiency
- Ability to follow directions and work autonomously
- Strong multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to adhere to appearance, uniform and hygiene standards at SONIC
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Advanced studies in business, restaurant management or related fields preferred
- Minimum of two years of restaurant management experience, preferably in quick service restaurants
- Experience running shifts without supervision
- Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing and selection practices
- Knowledge of federal and state labor laws as well as local health and sanitation regulations
- Leadership and supervisory experience
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Basic accounting and computer skills
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making and conflict-resolution abilities
Job Duties
- Manages, trains, monitors and coaches crew and team members
- Directs and assigns drive-in restaurant employees to ensure all food service meets operational standards
- Adheres to and monitors employee compliance with the drive-in employee handbook, policies and practices
- Performs restaurant opening and/or closing duties
- Prepares employee work schedules and adjusts staffing levels as needed
- Monitors and maintains restaurant inventory levels and places orders within cost control procedures
- Completes and maintains all employment and payroll records
- Reinforces a customer service mentality among employees
- Resolves guest requests and complaints promptly and respectfully
- Interviews and hires restaurant crew and management team members
- Prepares operational reports and develops action plans to address financial or sales issues
- Develops and implements marketing plans
