Job Requirements

  • bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business or related field preferred
  • minimum of 3 years hotel management experience
  • experience with Hilton, IHG or Marriott brands preferred
  • proven leadership and people management skills
  • strong financial acumen including budgeting and forecasting
  • excellent guest relations and communication abilities
  • effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • flexibility to work varied schedules including evenings, weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business, or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of hotel management experience
  • experience with Hilton, IHG, or Marriott brands preferred
  • proven ability to motivate, train, and lead a hospitality team
  • strong budgeting, forecasting, and revenue management skills
  • passion for enhancing guest experiences and maintaining high service standards
  • ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve challenges efficiently
  • strong community engagement skills
  • willingness to work varied schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • prepare annual capital, cash flow, and sales and marketing plans to forecast budgets and drive revenue
  • utilize financial data to maximize profitability and return on investment
  • leverage distribution channels and technology to enhance market share and revenue
  • oversee capital plans and asset management initiatives to maintain competitive position
  • develop team member engagement programs aligned with brand service behaviors
  • implement and monitor succession planning
  • set performance goals, provide mentoring and coaching
  • oversee salary decisions, disciplinary actions, and HR processes
  • lead by example demonstrating core company values
  • maintain compliance with brand standards and license agreements
  • drive improvement in guest satisfaction scores
  • engage with guests and solicit feedback
  • ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, team members, and assets
  • represent the hotel in the local community
  • drive environmentally conscious initiatives to reduce the carbon footprint
  • maintain a safe working environment including hazard prevention and safe use of cleaning chemicals
  • lead the hotel’s recycling and sustainability efforts
