Job Requirements
- bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business or related field preferred
- minimum of 3 years hotel management experience
- experience with Hilton, IHG or Marriott brands preferred
- proven leadership and people management skills
- strong financial acumen including budgeting and forecasting
- excellent guest relations and communication abilities
- effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
- flexibility to work varied schedules including evenings, weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business, or related field preferred
- 3+ years of hotel management experience
- experience with Hilton, IHG, or Marriott brands preferred
- proven ability to motivate, train, and lead a hospitality team
- strong budgeting, forecasting, and revenue management skills
- passion for enhancing guest experiences and maintaining high service standards
- ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve challenges efficiently
- strong community engagement skills
- willingness to work varied schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- prepare annual capital, cash flow, and sales and marketing plans to forecast budgets and drive revenue
- utilize financial data to maximize profitability and return on investment
- leverage distribution channels and technology to enhance market share and revenue
- oversee capital plans and asset management initiatives to maintain competitive position
- develop team member engagement programs aligned with brand service behaviors
- implement and monitor succession planning
- set performance goals, provide mentoring and coaching
- oversee salary decisions, disciplinary actions, and HR processes
- lead by example demonstrating core company values
- maintain compliance with brand standards and license agreements
- drive improvement in guest satisfaction scores
- engage with guests and solicit feedback
- ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, team members, and assets
- represent the hotel in the local community
- drive environmentally conscious initiatives to reduce the carbon footprint
- maintain a safe working environment including hazard prevention and safe use of cleaning chemicals
- lead the hotel’s recycling and sustainability efforts
