Job Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree preferred
  • High school diploma or GED or Associate Degree in General Studies
  • 5-7 years supervisory and property management experience within multifamily
  • 5-7 years preferred multi-site management experience
  • Preferred certifications: ARM, CPM, IREM, or CAM
  • Required skills: fair housing laws, affordable housing programs at select properties, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Preferred skills: Yardi, LRO, leadership and supervisory skills, landlord-tenant knowledge

  • 5-7 years of supervisory and property management experience in multifamily applications
  • 5-7 years of preferred multi-site management experience
  • Preferred certifications include Accredited Residential Manager (ARM), Certified Property Manager (CPM), Certified Apartment Manager (CAM)
  • Knowledge of fair housing laws, affordable housing programs, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Preferred skills include Yardi software, LRO, leadership and supervisory skills, landlord-tenant knowledge

Job Duties

  • Supervises and coordinates daily operations of high complexity apartment communities and/or mixed-use properties
  • Establishes communication system between property associates and Corporate Office
  • Completes performance evaluations and ensures high performance of associates
  • Responds to emergency situations and contacts appropriate authorities
  • Supports use and training of property management software
  • Prepares purchase orders, approves expenditures, reviews vendor contracts, assists in budgeting and variance reports
  • Develops and implements marketing plans, coordinates advertising and promotions
  • Approves residency applications and leasing documents
  • Collects rent, manages payments and initiates collections or eviction processes
  • Meets prospective residents, conducts interviews, shows units, and manages follow-ups
  • Conducts move-in, move-out, and interim unit inspections
  • Maintains maintenance programs, capital improvements, housekeeping, and service request responses
  • Ensures compliance with housing quality standards and coordinates major maintenance issues with engineering department
