Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • One to two years of related experience or training
  • Must attend GM Core classes and Crew Interviewing Workshop within 90 days of hire or promotion
  • Must be Serve-Safe certified
  • Ability to read and interpret business periodicals and technical procedures
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence
  • Ability to calculate figures and apply algebra and geometry
  • Ability to define problems and draw valid conclusions

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of company's operating systems and procedures
  • Proficient understanding of supervisory practices
  • Experience with training and development practices
  • Familiar with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Strong reading, analytical, and business communication skills
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
  • Basic mathematical skills including algebra and geometry concepts
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Serve-Safe certification

Job Duties

  • Manage restaurant operations and staff including execution of company policies and procedures
  • Ensure all company guidelines and objectives are met
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and ethical business practices
  • Provide leadership, direction, training, and development to subordinate managers and crew
  • Analyze profit and loss (P&L) and implement corrective measures
  • Oversee interviewing and hiring practices
  • Plan and manage budgeting for the restaurant
