Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- One to two years of related experience or training
- Must attend GM Core classes and Crew Interviewing Workshop within 90 days of hire or promotion
- Must be Serve-Safe certified
- Ability to read and interpret business periodicals and technical procedures
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence
- Ability to calculate figures and apply algebra and geometry
- Ability to define problems and draw valid conclusions
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of company's operating systems and procedures
- Proficient understanding of supervisory practices
- Experience with training and development practices
- Familiar with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Strong reading, analytical, and business communication skills
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
- Basic mathematical skills including algebra and geometry concepts
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Serve-Safe certification
Job Duties
- Manage restaurant operations and staff including execution of company policies and procedures
- Ensure all company guidelines and objectives are met
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and ethical business practices
- Provide leadership, direction, training, and development to subordinate managers and crew
- Analyze profit and loss (P&L) and implement corrective measures
- Oversee interviewing and hiring practices
- Plan and manage budgeting for the restaurant
