Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant management experience
- Experience in sales building and financial management
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, and move intermittently during shifts
- Effective communication skills
- Commitment to upholding company policies and standards
- Ability to manage a team and handle conflict
- Familiarity with store operation systems is a plus.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2-3 years of restaurant, retail, or guest service management experience
- Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting, and training
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Has a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- ServSafe certified preferred or certification within 90 days of employment
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Job Duties
- Demonstrates the doing of an assistant general manager with ease, enthusiasm and excellence
- Models, upholds and implements Caribou policies, practices, and standards
- Ensures the store is fully staffed for upcoming shifts including updating schedules and planning staffing needs
- Owns the entire recruiting process including job posts, sourcing, interviewing, hiring and onboarding
- Keeps the team engaged and energized
- Responsible for execution of role based training and promotional window training
- Demonstrates clear and effective communication to team about expectations and the why behind the what
- Keeps accurate records in Workday
- Ensures overall safety of team members and guests
- Coaches, trains, and develops the team to generate their best doing and being during every shift and with every interaction
- Delivers proactive, timely, and thoughtful coaching conversations and feedback to support the team
- Exemplifies and embodies incredible guest experience at all times
- Trains and develops team to provide a best in class guest experience
- Demonstrates and teaches guest recovery
- Takes ownership of guest satisfaction metrics and results
- Represents Caribou in handling guest complaints and/or issues with a sincere approach
- Acts as the business owner taking full ownership of store and team success
- Owns execution of food safety, sanitization, and store health and safety
- Champions execution of standard operation procedures
- Has keen aptitude of store systems including CrunchTime, GoSpotCheck, EcoSure, TeamworX, Medallia, Workday, Beekeeper
- Understands P&L to build financial plans and fiscal responsibility
- Creates energy and focus on meeting and exceeding sales goals
- Demonstrates efficient inventory control and waste management
- Assists with delivery of quality store operations and sales activities
- Ensures fast and friendly service and product quality according to standards
- Minimizes loss through strict cash handling and compliance with accounting requirements
