Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of two years restaurant management experience, preferably in quick-service restaurants
  • willingness to work a minimum five-day workweek including nights, weekends and holidays
  • knowledge of recruiting and interviewing
  • knowledge of labor, health and sanitation laws
  • leadership and supervisory skills
  • basic accounting and computer proficiency
  • ability to follow directions and work autonomously
  • problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • ability to adhere to appearance, uniform and hygiene standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • two years of restaurant management experience, preferably in a quick-service restaurant
  • knowledge of recruiting, interviewing and selection practices
  • understanding of federal and state labor laws and local health and sanitation regulations
  • leadership and supervisory skills
  • effective verbal and written communication skills
  • basic accounting and computer skills
  • problem solving, decision-making and conflict-resolution skills
  • ability to multi-task and work independently

Job Duties

  • Manages, trains, monitors and coaches crew and team members, carhops and skating carhops
  • directs and assigns drive-in restaurant employees to ensure food service meets operational standards
  • adheres to and monitors employee compliance with the employee handbook, policies and practices
  • performs restaurant opening and closing duties
  • prepares employee work schedules and adjusts staffing levels
  • monitors and maintains restaurant inventory, places orders within cost control procedures
  • completes and maintains employment and payroll records
  • reinforces customer service mentality among staff
  • resolves guest requests and complaints promptly and respectfully
  • interviews and hires restaurant crew and management team members
  • prepares operational reports and develops action plans to address financial and sales trends
  • develops and implements a marketing plan
