Job Description

This job opportunity is with a restaurant that operates under a McDonald's franchise, owned and managed independently by a local franchisee rather than McDonald's USA. The franchisee holds a license to use McDonald's well-known logos and food products, but operates as a separate entity in all employment matters including hiring, firing, staffing, discipline, and scheduling. This means that if you are hired for this position, your employer will be the independent franchisee and not McDonald's USA. Job Requirements

  • must be at least 18 years old
  • previous general manager experience preferred
  • experience in quick service restaurants or related fields
  • strong leadership abilities
  • good communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple priorities
  • commitment to achieving high standards of quality, service and cleanliness

Job Qualifications

  • previous general manager experience running high volume locations
  • background in quick service restaurants preferred
  • experience in hospitality or retail considered
  • leadership and coaching skills
  • ability to set goals and drive team performance
  • strong organizational and communication skills
  • must be at least 18 years old

Job Duties

  • run a profitable restaurant
  • ensure the restaurant meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
  • work with leader to set restaurant goals and create plans to achieve them
  • lead a team of Department Managers and help them set goals
  • monitor progress and provide coaching to improve departments
  • hire and develop Department and Shift Managers
  • maintain high standards in fast-paced, high-volume environment
