Job Description
This job posting is for a General Manager position at a McDonald’s restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, a separate entity from McDonald’s USA. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Prior management experience in quick service restaurants or hospitality preferred
- Ability to lead a team and manage multiple departments
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of customer service
- Flexible availability to meet restaurant needs
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role
- Experience managing high-volume quick service restaurants preferred
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to set goals and drive results
- Minimum age 18 years
Job Duties
- Run a profitable restaurant ensuring high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
- Work with leadership to set and achieve restaurant goals
- Lead and coach Department Managers to improve departmental performance
- Hire and develop Department and Shift Managers
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to restaurant team
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and supervision of employees
- Foster a positive work environment that supports growth and development
