Job Requirements
- Previous general manager experience or assistant general manager equivalent
- Proficiency in computer and office software
- Ability to analyze data from spreadsheets and databases
- Experience with hotel information systems and accounting
- Strong communication and leadership skills
Job Qualifications
- At least two years of general manager experience in select service hotels
- Four or more years as assistant general manager
- Strong computer and office skills including email communication
- Experience with hotel information and accounting systems
- Premium brand experience preferred (Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott, or IHG)
Job Duties
- Balance strategic planning with hands-on execution on the hotel floor
- Develop cohesion with associates to maximize potential
- Maintain and grow market share, targeting competition
- Successfully interact with hotel ownership and corporate staff
- Focus on revenue index, flex/flow, and guest satisfaction
- Develop and implement staff optimization plans
- Build positive relationships with sales staff and leadership
