Job Requirements

  • Previous 2+ years of general manager experience within a busy select service hotel
  • or 4+ years as an assistant general manager
  • Computer and office skills required
  • Ability to communicate effectively through email
  • Ability to manipulate and decipher information from spreadsheets and databases
  • Experience with hotel information systems and accounting systems pertinent to the brand
  • Premium brand experience highly preferred

  • Premium brand experience (Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott, or IHG) highly preferred

Job Duties

  • Balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution out on the floor in a fast-paced environment
  • Developing cohesion with associates and maximizing each one’s potential
  • Keeping current market share and aggressively growing new prospects from nearby competition
  • Successfully interacting with hotel ownership, all key leaders and staff across the hotel, and key corporate staff
  • Strong focus and adherence to Crestline’s key success measures: Revenue Index, Flex/Flow, and Guest Satisfaction
  • Developing a staff optimization plan for leaders and newly hired staff to ensure they understand their mission and have necessary tools within the first 30 days
  • Building positive relationships with onsite and regional sales staff as well as corporate sales and marketing leadership
