Job Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent
- Minimum 3-5 years of management experience including profit and loss management
- Availability to work 45-50 hours per week including evenings and weekends
- Ability to drive and manage workplace change
- Strong profit and loss management abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and point of sale software
- Comfortable working in front-of-house and back-of-house roles
- Valid driver’s license and current insurance including comprehensive and collision coverage
- Willingness to transport pets during emergencies
- Physical ability to move throughout the resort for extended periods
- Ability to move 50 lbs for short distances
- Ability to balance and move up to 25 lbs for longer distances
Job Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree equivalent education and experience preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of management experience including profit and loss management
- Strong profit and loss management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and point of sale software
- Experience in front-of-house and back-of-house operations
- Excellent written, verbal, and hands-on team management skills
- Experience driving community outreach and marketing initiatives
- Ability to influence and manage workplace change
- Restaurant, retail, veterinary management, or hospitality experience preferred
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Valid driver’s license and current insurance with comprehensive and collision coverage
Job Duties
- Understand and communicate the company’s mission, values, and objectives
- Provide leadership and direction for financial management, customer service, pet care, and team management
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies including lead management and conversion tactics
- Create plans to achieve sales revenue, labor, cost of goods sold, and expense management objectives
- Maintain operational excellence and ensure compliance with company directives
- Recognize and reward outstanding team performance
- Analyze financial data and KPIs to optimize business performance and identify growth opportunities
- Develop and train resort leads in financial literacy and decision-making
- Execute corporate and local marketing plans for sales lead generation
- Engage with the community and cultivate relationships with local businesses and referral sources
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management for all team members
- Coach and mentor team members and resort leads to maintain company standards
- Ensure excellent customer service and resolve service issues effectively
- Lead daily resort operations adhering to company policies and safety regulations
- Maintain resort cleanliness, maintenance, and inventory standards
- Act as Manager on Duty for selected shifts and make staffing decisions accordingly
