Job Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • 3-5 years management experience with profit and loss responsibility
  • availability to work 45-50 hours weekly including evenings and weekends
  • valid driver's license with current insurance including comprehensive and collision coverage
  • ability to transport pets during emergencies
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and POS software
  • ability to work both front and back of house roles
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to manage and influence workplace change
  • preferred experience in restaurant, retail, veterinary, or hospitality management
  • bilingual skills considered an asset

Job Qualifications

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • bachelor’s degree equivalent education and experience preferred
  • minimum 3-5 years management experience including profit and loss responsibility
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office and point of sale software
  • experience in front and back of house operations
  • excellent verbal and written communication
  • commitment to personal development and business operations knowledge
  • ability to influence community engagement and marketing
  • passion for animal care
  • valid driver's license
  • bilingual skills a plus
  • hospitality, retail, restaurant, or veterinary management experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Understand and communicate the company's mission, values, and objectives
  • provide leadership and direction across all site aspects including financial management, customer service, pet care, and team management
  • develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company objectives
  • create operational plans to achieve sales, labor, expense, and budget targets
  • maintain operational excellence and compliance with company policies
  • recognize and reward outstanding team performance
  • analyze financial data and KPIs to optimize business performance
  • execute local and corporate marketing plans to generate sales leads
  • engage community and cultivate relationships to increase lead generation
  • manage team recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance
  • lead the resort in delivering exceptional customer service and satisfaction
  • ensure resort cleanliness, maintenance, and safety standards
  • lead shifts as Manager on Duty and make staffing decisions based on business demands
  • enforce operational checklists, audits, and reporting
  • foster a positive team culture and resolve employee concerns promptly
