Job Requirements
- Work a flexible, full-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be available to close the store at least once per week
- Attend corporate meetings and conferences including travel
- Maintain valid identification for airline travel
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
- 3-5+ years of fast-paced retail management or relevant experience
- Proven success in financial management including driving sales and managing payroll budgets
- Experience with retail management including inventory control and merchandising
- Leadership experience with talent development and team motivation
- Proficiency with Point of Sale systems, Microsoft Office, and Apple devices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to use good judgment and adapt under pressure
Job Duties
- Promote a culture of accountability to meet or exceed sales, guest loyalty, payroll, omni-channel, and shrink goals
- Drive company profitability through operational excellence, sales growth, and expense control
- Leverage store forecast and payroll budgets to maximize productivity and meet sales goals
- Address financial and operational issues to achieve company goals
- Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to enhance guest experience
- Stay informed about industry trends, products, and services
- Maintain regular attendance and enforce store attendance policy
- Attract, hire, and retain a diverse team
- Manage staffing needs and open positions efficiently
- Address policy violations and take corrective actions
- Build an engaged, collaborative team that embodies brand values
- Create an inclusive environment encouraging growth and engagement
- Lead manager and associate development through training and coaching
- Participate in ongoing training and ensure direct reports do the same
- Communicate enterprise strategy and align store goals accordingly
- Promote teamwork and provide clear direction
- Execute Guest Engagement Leader program to drive business results
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards
- Enforce dress code policy
- Use scheduling and task management tools effectively
- Protect company assets and minimize loss through adherence to standards
- Manage inventory control processes and theft reporting
- Support adoption of company initiatives and technology
- Communicate with field leadership about business trends and opportunities
