Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • previous supervisory experience preferred
  • ability to stand or remain stationary for long periods

  • proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay
  • use guests' names to ensure they feel welcomed
  • work collaboratively to achieve great guest satisfaction scores
  • manage challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
  • maintain strong knowledge of hotel facilities and amenities
  • support all groups and events at the hotel
  • ensure proper use of relevant technology
  • answer incoming calls with friendly and professional phone etiquette
  • keep all front and back of house areas clean and organized
  • participate in cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed
  • greet guests while cleaning to maintain hospitality
  • complete all operational checklists accurately and on time every shift
  • ensure accurate and timely shift handover reports
  • maintain a clean, approved uniform and present oneself professionally
  • communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
  • exhibit a can-do attitude and willingness to meet business needs
  • collaborate with team members to create a welcoming environment and positive workplace
  • conduct daily supervision walkthroughs of guest rooms and public areas
  • onboard new team members effectively
  • complete auditing and night audit processes according to policy
  • prepare and upload daily reports promptly
  • ensure adherence to brand quality assurance standards
  • enforce uniform and safety standards
  • certify all fire and life safety inspections are current
  • confirm preventative maintenance tasks are completed
  • manage work schedules and shift coverage
  • foster a culture of learning and safety
  • provide training and coaching to staff
  • manage time clock reviews
  • oversee purchase order and invoice approval processes
  • maintain inventory and storage according to program
