  • Five years operations management experience
  • Two years management experience in cultural or museum attractions a plus
  • ServSafe certified a plus.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Minimum five years of operations management experience
  • Experience in cultural, iconic, amusement, or museum attraction environments preferred
  • Proven leadership and team-building skills
  • Strong financial management and analytical abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of basic office computer functions
  • ServSafe certification a plus
  • Commitment to sustainability and inclusivity principles
  • Ability to lead training and development programs
  • Experience managing budgets, payroll, and inventory
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to foster positive client and community relationships
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations applicable to operations.

Job Duties

  • Coach and supervise department managers to meet daily operational needs
  • Schedule management personnel as necessary
  • Develop training standards for alcohol service, customer service, safety, and harassment
  • Host meetings and conduct training sessions for the management team
  • Track and manage inventory and cost of goods with department heads
  • Act as liaison between Client and SSA
  • Maintain positive client relationships
  • Collaborate with marketing to enhance guest experience and operations
  • Attend client meetings and report to the Regional Manager
  • Manage unit’s compliance with local, state, and federal laws
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Enforce company policies and procedures
  • Oversee financial management including budgeting and forecasting
  • Ensure timely submission of fiscal reports and invoices
  • Provide detailed operational reports to Regional Manager
  • Conduct business assessments to drive revenue
  • Forecast sales and maintain sales analysis
  • Manage payroll and controllable expenses strategically
  • Achieve sales and budget goals
  • Minimize controllable operational costs
  • Implement SSA EXTRA Guest Service standards
  • Manage day-to-day departmental functions
  • Uphold contract compliance with discretion
  • Support staff discipline and maintain operating manuals
  • Review and approve plans for special events
  • Manage menu design and pricing
  • Participate in long-term planning of departmental programs
  • Oversee capital projects
  • Communicate with HQ on legal matters
  • Manage employee integration and exit procedures
  • Promote inclusivity and support within unit
  • Oversee unit publications
  • Lead sustainability and conservation efforts
  • Engage in community involvement initiatives
  • Perform additional tasks as needed.
