Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent education and/or experience
  • three to five years of guest service experience
  • three to five years of prior management experience preferably in casual dining
  • demonstrated ability to grow sales and manage a profit and loss statement
  • positive attitude and ability to handle highly difficult guest interactions
  • 21 plus years old
  • ServSafe Alcohol and Food Certification a plus
  • reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills in English is required
  • bilingual experience a plus
  • reliable transportation and government issued driver's license required
  • ability to work 50-55 hour work weeks and flexible schedule consisting of mornings, mid-day shifts, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • ability to pass company background check
  • passion for the industry

Job Duties

  • Ensures prompt, friendly service according to company guidelines
  • builds a culture using the Vision and Mission statement to guide people, profits, and guest experience
  • ensures the immediate response and correction of all verbal, email, and social media guest complaints
  • employs tools such as table touching and proactivity in resolving potential guest issues
  • teaches and enforces alcohol awareness and builds a positive relationship with local authorities
  • maintains adequate inventory levels
  • ensures product preparation and presentation meeting company standards
  • schedules associates to meet sales demands
  • maintains safety and security programs
  • promotes restaurant organization, cleanliness and sanitation
  • manages community marketing and participates in community events
  • implements incentive contests and educates associates on promotions
  • manages performance of assistant managers, team leads and team members
  • maintains team member and administrative functions
  • manages front of the house and back of the house operations
  • oversees all opening and closing procedures
  • manages standards and quality commitment
  • manages daily and weekly reports
  • fosters teamwork aligned with organizational goals
  • operates with professionalism, ethics and integrity
  • develops assistant managers, team leads, and team members for growth
  • performs other related duties as assigned
