Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent education and/or experience
  • Three to five years of guest service experience
  • Three to five years of prior management experience preferably in a casual dining setting
  • Demonstrated ability to grow sales and manage a profit & loss statement
  • Positive attitude and ability to handle highly difficult guest interactions
  • 21 years or older
  • ServSafe alcohol and food certification a plus
  • Reading, writing, basic math, and verbal communication skills in English
  • Bi-lingual experience a plus
  • Reliable transportation and government issued driver's license
  • Ability to work 50-55 hour work weeks and flexible schedule including mornings, mid-day shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to pass company background check
  • Passion for the industry

Job Duties

  • Manages restaurant environment to ensure prompt, friendly service according to company guidelines
  • Builds a culture using the vision/mission statement to guide people, profits, and guest experience
  • Ensures immediate response and correction of all verbal, email, and social media guest complaints
  • Ensures high-quality guest experience by employing tools such as table touching and proactivity in resolving potential issues
  • Teaches and enforces alcohol awareness and builds positive relationship with local authorities
  • Maintains adequate inventory levels
  • Ensures product preparation and presentation meet company standards
  • Effectively oversees and schedules associates to meet sales demands
  • Maintains effective safety and security programs according to company policy and government standards
  • Promotes and manages restaurant organization, cleanliness, and sanitation
  • Manages community marketing and participates actively in the community
  • Implements incentive contests and educates associates on promotions and new menu offerings
  • Manages Assistant Manager, Associate Manager(s), Team Lead(s), and Team Member performance
  • Maintains team member and administrative functions related to manager role
  • Effectively manages front of house and back of house operations
  • Responsible for all opening and closing procedures of the restaurant
  • Manages standards and commitment to quality
  • Responsible for managing all daily and weekly reports
  • Fosters teamwork by building effective teams committed to restaurant and organizational goals
  • Operates with professionalism, ethics, and integrity
  • Develops Assistant General Manager, Associate Manager(s), Team Lead(s), and Team Members for growth within the company
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
