Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership experience in restaurant industry
  • 4 to 6 years experience in family or casual dining restaurants
  • knowledge of state alcohol serving regulations if applicable
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to lead, train, and develop staff
  • strong organizational and planning abilities
  • ability to operate restaurant management software
  • physical capability to stand for entire shift and lift up to 50 pounds
  • ability to work varying shifts including weekends
  • commitment to adhering to safety and sanitation procedures
  • Australian mandatory E-Verify compliance

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations according to company policies and laws
  • recruit, interview, hire, train, and develop employees
  • appraise performance and manage disciplinary actions including terminations
  • cultivate a positive restaurant culture and high employee engagement
  • coach and mentor team members to ensure job success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional, hospitable behavior to encourage excellent performance
  • communicate sales performance and operational goals to staff
  • assist team members with job duties as needed
  • lead sales building and suggestive selling initiatives
  • maximize table turnover and sales metrics
  • greet guests and resolve food quality or service issues
  • maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and company policies
  • enforce safe-work practices
  • monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • manage cash control, inventory, food and labor costs, and financial reporting
  • oversee food cost and portion control
  • optimize labor scheduling and monitor sales performance
  • ensure proper use and maintenance of restaurant equipment and facilities
  • perform other duties as assigned
