Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant
  • Prior experience in leadership roles
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to reach, handle, bend, stoop
  • Ability to taste, smell, and verbally communicate
  • Strong vision capabilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
  • Ability to access all restaurant areas including sales floor, stock, and register
  • Available to work a variety of shifts and weekends
  • Compliance with state alcohol serving age regulations where applicable
  • Commitment to safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work activities
  • Appraise performance, reward and discipline employees, including terminations
  • Address complaints and resolve problems
  • Shape restaurant culture and ensure high employee engagement
  • Coach and mentor team members to enhance job performance and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior to create a warm and hospitable atmosphere
  • Communicate sales performance and variances to team
  • Cascade corporate programs and initiatives
  • Assist team members with job duties as needed
  • Champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Meet and greet guests, investigate and resolve food quality/service issues
  • Maintain efficient operations with cost controls and profit management
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and company policies
  • Enforce safe work behaviors to maintain safety
  • Monitor food quality and cleanliness standards daily
  • Control cash, inventory, food and labor
  • Manage financial reports and scheduling
  • Oversee P&L management including food, labor, and carryout costs
  • Control food costs by following recipes and portions
  • Manage labor costs through optimized scheduling and performance monitoring
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of restaurant equipment
  • Maintain facility and company assets
  • Perform other assigned duties as required
