Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 4 years prior experience in relevant restaurant leadership role
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • plan, assign, and direct work
  • appraise performance
  • reward and discipline employees including termination
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • shape restaurant culture and ensure high employee engagement
  • coach and mentor team members
  • model professional behavior while creating a warm and hospitable atmosphere
  • communicate sales performance and variances to management team
  • cascade corporate programs and initiatives
  • assist team members occasionally with job duties
  • champion sales building and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover and sales per guest
  • meet and greet guests and resolve food quality/service issues
  • maintain cost controls and profit management
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and company policies
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor quality food and cleanliness standards
  • follow cash control/security procedures and manage inventory
  • manage P&L including food cost, labor cost, and controllable items
  • control food costs through recipes and portion control
  • optimize labor schedules and monitor schedules and sales
  • ensure proper use of equipment
  • maintain facility and assets
  • perform other duties as assigned
