Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, and perform repetitive hand/arm motions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
- Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable transportation
- Current ServSafe certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Food Handler Permit as required by local laws
- Compliance with all health department regulations
- Ability to write simple correspondence in English
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff in English
- Ability to test products by taste, color, and smell
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Experience coaching and developing teams in a retail environment
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety and handling certifications
- Ability to manage financial and operational reports
- Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills
Job Duties
- Monitor sales, labor, and food costs to meet financial targets
- Manage overall store operations including staff supervision and scheduling
- Recruit, interview, and hire store staff
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and operational policies
- Provide training, coaching, and development of employees
- Maintain inventory and control waste and giveaways
- Coordinate store maintenance and equipment repairs
- Oversee cash handling and financial reporting
- Lead promotional and marketing activities
- Foster positive relationships with mall management and community
- Enforce dress code and personal appearance standards
- Participate as a working manager alongside staff
- Perform other duties as assigned
