Job Requirements
- authorized to work in the US
- minimum of three years experience managing in a scratch kitchen corporate dining establishment
- ability to speak, read, write and understand English
- basic computer skills including Microsoft Office suite, Micros POS system, and Ctuit financial suite
- ability to supervise cafe team including assignment of duties, evaluation of service, and disciplinary actions
- thorough knowledge of food products, standard recipes and proper preparation
Job Qualifications
- proven experience managing a scratch kitchen corporate dining establishment for at least three years
- strong leadership and people management skills
- comprehensive understanding of financial statements and budget management
- effective communication and interpersonal skills
- proficiency in basic computer skills including Microsoft Office suite, Micros POS system, and Ctuit financial suite
- ability to supervise and evaluate cafe team performance
- thorough knowledge of food products, standard recipes, and preparation methods
- ability to coach and develop team members
- knowledge of Corvirtus interviewing methods and hiring practices
- excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
Job Duties
- conduct regular one-on-one meetings with management to review results and action plans
- ensure managers understand their areas of responsibility and expectations
- maintain complete and organized training manuals and recipe books
- facilitate quarterly round tables open to all team members with follow-up communication
- manage and train staff using all relevant materials, systems, and tools for food, service, and hospitality excellence
- hold effective shift meetings including front and back of house team members
- implement hiring strategies understood by management team
- establish ideal staffing levels and communicate within weekly people updates
- coach managers on Corvirtus interviewing methods and validate their practice
- establish specific interviewing processes with clear communication
- maintain team member retention below average turnover rates
- provide full orientation to all new team members
- plan manpower proactively to maintain appropriate staffing and quality
- recruit new managers and team members within the local market
- drive execution to ensure consistency, quality, and guest satisfaction to build daily sales
- delegate profit center responsibilities with clear goals and expectations
- prepare complete month-end recaps with variance explanations
- reconcile operations statements fully and efficiently with documented changes
- establish and utilize declining budgets for all cost centers
- adjust operations in response to fluctuating sales levels to control costs
- ensure effective cleaning processes are consistently executed
- enforce building lock-down plan consistently
