Job Duties
- Manage daily restaurant operations including staff supervision and policy enforcement
- recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
- plan, assign, and direct work duties
- appraise performance and handle employee discipline including termination
- foster a positive restaurant culture and high employee engagement
- coach and mentor team members to ensure job success and guest satisfaction
- communicate sales performance and operational updates to management team
- assist team members with tasks as needed
- champion sales building activities and suggestive selling initiatives
- maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
- greet guests and resolve food quality and service issues
- maintain operational efficiency with appropriate cost control and profit management
- ensure compliance with OSHA, health, safety, and security policies
- enforce safe work behaviors for guests and staff
- monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
- control cash, inventory, food and labor costs
- manage scheduling using labor tools
- maintain restaurant equipment and facilities
- perform all other assigned duties
