Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 4-6 years experience in a family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant
  • prior leadership experience
  • ability to work various shifts including weekends
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple tasks
  • physical stamina to stand and walk long periods
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • ability to use hands for handling and controls

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in compliance with company policies and applicable laws
  • recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • plan, assign, and direct work
  • appraise performance and administer rewards or disciplinary actions including termination
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • shape restaurant culture and promote high employee engagement
  • coach and mentor team members to ensure success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior and foster a hospitable atmosphere
  • communicate sales performance and implement corporate programs
  • assist staff with duties as needed
  • champion sales building and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover and sales metrics
  • greet guests and resolve food quality or service issues
  • maintain efficient operations with cost controls and profit management
  • ensure OSHA, health, safety, and company policies compliance
  • enforce safe work behaviors for guests and crew safety
  • monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • control cash, inventory, food, labor and review financials
  • manage food costs with recipe adherence and inventory
  • optimize labor scheduling and monitor sales performance
  • oversee proper use of equipment and maintain facility and assets
  • perform other assigned duties
