Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years old or older
- ability to stand for prolonged periods and perform physical tasks such as walking, squatting, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- ability to work in fast-paced and stressful environments
- reliable transportation
- current ServSafe certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- food handler permit as required by local laws
- compliance with local Health Department requirements
- ability to write and communicate effectively in English
- ability to test products by taste, color, and smell
- agility in performing job functions
- willingness to work occasional long hours as permitted by law
- assist in training new hires
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent experience
- experience coaching and developing teams in retail environment
- availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Achieve store sales, labor, and food cost targets
- exercise discretion in overall store operations
- supervise and direct staff including hiring, training, evaluating, disciplining, and scheduling
- ensure guest satisfaction, product quality, and safety
- monitor and control labor costs, food costs, and variable operating expenses
- manage store assets and security
- oversee cash handling and financial reporting including bank deposits and safe security
- monitor inventory levels, production, and waste
- recruit and interview staff
- enforce uniform and dress code policies
- provide and supervise training and onboarding
- determine staffing needs and prepare bi-weekly schedules
- provide disciplined leadership and hold team accountable
- conduct monthly physical inventory
- ensure accurate timekeeping
- review and authorize vendor payments
- maintain equipment and facilities
- coordinate cleaning and maintenance
- comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations
- execute marketing, promotional, and advertising activities
- maintain good relations with mall management and participate in community activities
- act as a working manager on the front line with team members
- perform other duties as assigned
